Where does the money go?
One hundred percent of the Net Profits from Humankind Water is donated to Qualified Recipients who are dedicated to providing clear water where it is needed most. These organizations are dedicated to cost effective implementation of water projects which conform to best practices and are sustainable.
The Net Profits consist of HKW gross profits from the sale of bottled water less appropriate business expenses, such as bottling, packaging, transportation costs and the expenses associated with graphic design, video production and marketing activities. No profits from Humankind Water go to any of the Principal's of HKW.

| Ethiopian Rainwater Harvesting Association | The Ethiopian Rainwater Harvesting Association (ERHA) was formed after the workshop in Arusha during which it was resolved to start Rainwater Associations in individual countries in the Southern and Eastern Africa Region. ERHA was established as a result of initiatives taken by concerned Ethiopians who recognized the need to alleviate the severe water shortage in many parts of Ethiopia through utilizing the rainwater resource for domestic water supply, food production and environmental needs and the tremendous role that could be played by CSOs in spearheading rainwater harvesting initiatives in Ethiopia. |
