- PARTY TIME! Although a bottle goes for $2, you can buy a case of 24 bottles for $24 - a lot more manageable. Then host a party and ask everyone there to buy the bottle for whatever they can afford. Most folks will give at least $5 or $10 a bottle. Then give the money to our foundation and track it and its benefits every step of the way. You could easily make $500 or $1000 in a night just by willing to host the party and front $24.
- LACE ‘EM UP! Host a walk-a-thon, or a run-a-thon. Have the participants get sponsored and go. Sell Humankind water all along the way.
- ROCK ON! Have a concert or a talent show and invite all your musically (or otherwise) gifted friends to play. Charge $5 or $10 to get in, and sell Humankind Water for $2/bottle. Show our video and pass the hat for even more.
- FORE! Host a charity golf outing. Put one of our pictures on every tee. Sell the water every few holes. Find a golf shop willing to donate prizes, and offer a longest drive, closest to the hole and best score prize.
- SPARE CHANGE THE WORLD. Buy a case of Humankind Water and go door to door selling it until you sell out. The cost? Make a donation of any size, or dump your spare change cup (everybody has one) into the bucket. Always share the story and stress that YOU are not benefitting from this, nor are we. Their gifts will be tax-deductible minus the $2 fair market value of the bottle.
Whatever money your group raises will go directly to the help the crisis – 100%. As we’ve stated before, we have a few designated givers who underwrite all of our costs of operation (which we keep very lean). So you can know for certain that 100% of your gift is going to people in desperate need.
